Challenge
A client needed to remotely command an external physical device as part of their workflow, packaged so non-technical staff could run it without touching code.
Approach
Built the device-commanding logic in Node.js, then wrapped it into a standalone executable alongside a lightweight web app for triggering and monitoring commands. Because testing depended on the client's physical hardware, the work proceeded through a series of live sessions to validate behavior against the real device rather than guessing at specs.
